It has been some time since I've taken a break from my schedule to pen some thoughts. Anyway, the unilateral decision by the Petrol Dealers Association of Malaysia (PDAM) to restrict the operating hours of pertol stations from 7am to 10pm is a farce!
In a time when petrol companies continue to rake in the profits at exhorbitant prices, why should the consumer be the one to pay?? Even the 1% charge on credit card usage is to be passed onto the rakyat.
The reasons given for this travesty is simple; no security, higher costs and frankly, the oil and gas industry doesn't give a damn!
Isn't the oil national property to begin with?
With an immpending general elections, let's see how this muddlefuck of a decision gets endorsed...
